Underwater Hidden Caches
Ten personal caches per day are selected from a 100-location pool around San Andreas. A Kosatka with Sonar Station reveals the active ten, but a known location can be physically collected without sonar or another required vehicle.

Underwater Hidden Caches
Most reliable path: request the Kosatka with Sonar Station, sit at the sonar console and enable the Hidden Caches scan. Active points appear around the coast; travel above a marker and dive for the package.
Solo/personal pickup on all supported platforms. Detection requires a Kosatka with the Sonar Station upgrade; collecting a known active cache itself requires neither Kosatka, Avisa, Toreador nor purchased gear.
If sonar shows no points, confirm the Sonar Station purchase, active console and whether today's ten are already collected. Without sonar use only a current confirmed active-location list—knowing the pool of 100 does not identify today's ten.

First completion, step by step
01 Request the Kosatka
- ACTION
- From Interaction Menu → Services → Kosatka position the submarine near the chosen coast and board it.
- TIP
- Place the submarine near the centre of today's route to reduce long journeys.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- A Kosatka without the Sonar Station upgrade will not reveal active caches.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- You may collect a known point by another boat/swimming, but purchase Sonar Station for self-contained detection.
02 Enable the Hidden Caches scan
- ACTION
- Sit at the sonar console and enable the cache filter/scan until active markers appear on the map.
- TIP
- Plan a loop through neighbouring markers rather than following numeric order.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Leaving the console or switching sessions may remove markers until another scan.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Return to the console and reactivate sonar; this does not mean uncollected caches were lost.
03 Travel above a marker
- ACTION
- Drive the Kosatka, Dinghy or any boat above the marker and position for a vertical dive.
- TIP
- Scuba gear makes the ten-cache run easier but is not a mechanic requirement.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Current, depth or poor boat placement can make the return to the surface difficult.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Surface, move the boat directly above the icon and try a shorter vertical dive.
04 Collect the cache
- ACTION
- Swim to the small package on the seabed and move into/collect it until $10,000 + 500 RP appears.
- TIP
- After every payout confirm the marker disappeared before moving on.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Surfacing too quickly before the save may leave the point uncollected.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Dive again at the same marker; the daily limit decreases only after payout.
05 Finish all ten
- ACTION
- Repeat scan–travel–dive until all ten active points disappear and total payout reaches $100,000 + 5,000 RP.
- TIP
- Check the Daily Collectibles counter after each route segment.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- A passenger collects their own cache; their pickup does not count toward your total.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Return to the missing marker and collect it personally before reset; after 10/10 the next ten appear only the next day.

Full sonar route
SoloKosatka + Sonar Station.
- OBJECTIVE
- Reveal and collect the active ten.
- MECHANIC
- Sonar identifies today's points from the pool of 100.
- COMPLETION
- 10 × ($10,000 + 500 RP) = $100,000 + 5,000 RP.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- If markers vanish, reuse the console; collected points do not return.
Known active point without sonar
SoloA currently confirmed active location + ability to reach it.
- OBJECTIVE
- Physically collect the package without owning Kosatka/Sonar.
- MECHANIC
- Sonar is for detection, not a condition of the pickup itself.
- COMPLETION
- $10,000 + 500 RP for the personal pickup.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- If the package is absent, the point is not in today's ten or was already collected.
03 • Real roles / Strategies
Real roles i Strategies
Personal diver
Each player collects their own ten. A boat driver can move a group between markers, but each player must dive for their own pickup.
Use a Kosatka with Sonar Station, clear one coastal region at a time and surface after each cache. Scuba gear is convenient, not mandatory.
Scan once, build a coastal loop and use a fast boat/helicopter with scuba gear; reposition the Kosatka only for a remote cluster.
04 • Reward and economic status
$10,000 + 500 RP per cache • 10/10 = $100,000 + 5,000 RP
Sonar provides reliable detection, but a known active point can be collected without a purchase. The daily limit and variable route keep the activity outside sustainable hourly rankings.
Ten daily caches at $10,000 each.
B • community-reportedTen daily caches at 500 RP each.

Common mistakes and recovery
Treating sonar as a pickup requirement
Sonar reveals active points; a known package can be collected without it.
Treating Toreador/Avisa as sonar substitutes
They help with travel but do not replace Kosatka + Sonar Station detection.
Treating the 100-pool as 100 daily
Only ten personal points are active per reset.
