Search the San Andreas coastline for a small broken boat, a chest and its distinctive audio cue. The wreck has no permanent long-range map icon; one coastal point from the pool is active each day.
Solo on all supported platforms with no rank, purchase or vehicle. This is a chest on the shore, not a Sonar Station Hidden Cache.
Confirm you are checking the shoreline rather than offshore Hidden Cache points. Raise effects volume, leave the vehicle at the beach and search on foot; once collected, the chest returns only after the daily reset.

01 Choose a coastal sector
- ACTION
- Start at one end of the coast and inspect points in order rather than jumping between random beaches.
- TIP
- A motorcycle or helicopter helps with short beach stops but is not required.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Skipping points can leave the only active location behind.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Return to the last confirmed point and continue systematically along the coast.
02 Recognise the wreck
- ACTION
- Look for a broken wooden boat and chest close to the waterline; approach on foot when you hear the cue.
- TIP
- Scan sand and coves rather than deep water.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- A decorative boat without a chest will not produce a prompt.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Walk around the wreck; if there is no chest or audio cue, continue to the next point.
03 Open the chest
- ACTION
- Approach the chest and hold the interaction control until the reward confirms.
- TIP
- Leave the vehicle higher on the beach so waves or traffic cannot move it during collection.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Leaving before the animation ends may fail to save the daily pickup.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Approach again and wait for $25,000 and 2,000 RP before leaving the session.
04 Track the outfit scrap
- ACTION
- For the first seven successful pickups, note the Frontier Outfit scrap counter increasing.
- TIP
- The scraps do not need to be collected on consecutive days.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Expecting another scrap after the seventh pickup leads to a false bug report.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Check the wardrobe after the seventh scrap; later wrecks still pay cash and RP.
05 Close the daily cycle
- ACTION
- After settlement stop searching for another wreck and return only after the next daily reset.
- TIP
- Pair the wreck with G's Cache or tags in the same part of the map.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Changing sessions does not create a second paid chest on the same day.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- If the payout saved, move to another daily; if not, recheck the same wreck.

Personal collector
Progress and rewards are personal. A friend may identify the coast, but each player opens their own chest.
Search systematically from one end of the coast, listen for the cue and approach on foot. Do not buy sonar—it is unrelated to Shipwreck.
Chain the current point with other dailies, land a helicopter above the waterline and end the wreck route immediately after collection.
