Start here

Check the current Races list under Rockstar Created. Hotring is a current 1–30-player family; HSW Series needs a supported platform and HSW car, generally for 1–8 players.

Access and requirements

HSW works only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Enhanced. RC Bandito Race Jobs are not the same as the still-available RC Time Trials.

If the start is missing

Do not troubleshoot an account based on a removed family. Mark Special Vehicle/RC/Issi/Target Assault/Cayo as rotational or unconfirmed and use Hotring, HSW or the relevant time trial instead.

ACTION
For Hotring check class, contact and laps; for HSW confirm an owned qualifying vehicle and player range.

In HSW match the car to course technicality rather than top speed alone.

The wrong HSW vehicle can block selection or produce a poor run.

Return to vehicle selection and choose a car actually converted by HSW.

Register every checkpoint and finish under Hotring or HSW rules.

Do not apply instructions from a removed mode to the current Job.

Read the actual lobby settings and play that Job according to displayed rules.

Current Rockstar Races family.

OBJECTIVE: Complete a closed stock-car race through every checkpoint.
MECHANIC: Large lobbies, slipstream and contact depending on settings.
COMPLETION: Finish after the full distance.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN: After contact rejoin only in a safe gap and do not block the course.

HSW Series

Generally 1–8

PS5/Xbox Series/PC Enhanced + owned HSW vehicle.

OBJECTIVE: Complete the course in an HSW-converted car.
MECHANIC: Extreme performance increases the cost of braking mistakes.
COMPLETION: Finish after every gate.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN: Brake earlier after an error; high speed makes abrupt recovery harder.

Special Vehicle / RC / Issi Classic

No permanent list

Removed from the normal Jobs catalogue; may appear only in a controlled rotational context.

OBJECTIVE: Historical context, not guaranteed launch instructions.
MECHANIC: Availability takes priority over old mechanics.
COMPLETION: No promise of completion in any given week.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN: Choose a permanent alternative; RC Time Trial has a separate guide.

Target Assault / Cayo specialty

Permanence unverified

No dedicated permanent launch instruction.

OBJECTIVE: Family information only with an explicit availability caveat.
MECHANIC: Permanent selection and economics must not be promised.
COMPLETION: Launch only when an official entry is actually visible.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN: Otherwise choose Hotring/HSW/Transform.
