RC Time Trial
Buy an Arena Workshop, then an RC Bandito from Warstock. In Freemode find the RC Bandito Time Trial marker and approach it as your character.
Minimum route from scratch: Arena Workshop $995,000 + RC Bandito $1,590,000 = $2,585,000. RC upgrades are not required to launch.
Check ownership of both required items, map filters and Freemode state. Do not search for RC Bandito Races—they were removed from the normal list and do not unlock this trial.

01 Confirm requirements
- ACTION
- Confirm ownership of both the Arena Workshop and RC Bandito; the workshop alone is not enough.
- TIP
- Run the trial with the stock RC first, then evaluate optional upgrades.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Missing either purchase blocks the marker or launch.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Complete the missing purchase and do not confuse it with a cosmetic upgrade.
02 Approach the marker
- ACTION
- Enter the current marker in Freemode and launch to take control of the RC Bandito.
- TIP
- Before launch note the first gate and the RC's orientation.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- An old location from another rotation may be empty.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Return to the current map and filters, then change session if the current marker did not refresh.
03 Set the RC rhythm
- ACTION
- Modulate throttle before tight corners, avoid tall kerbs and straighten the model before a jump.
- TIP
- The small RC recovers time through a smooth line rather than aggressive wall impacts.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Rolling over or becoming wedged quickly consumes the margin.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Use the trial reset/respawn rather than repeatedly manoeuvring in place.
04 Register every gate
- ACTION
- Look at least one gate ahead and choose ramp lines for a safe landing.
- TIP
- Take narrow passages through the centre even if it requires a short lift.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Missing a gate invalidates later progress.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Turn back immediately or restart if recovery would take longer than a fresh attempt.
05 Finish and read the result
- ACTION
- Enter the finish and wait for the time and payout message.
- TIP
- Record the result without converting it to sustainable hourly income.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Cash is community-reported while RP comes from the pinned trial-settlement model; event multipliers remain separate.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- On a repeat run, do not assume the full par-time bonus again; treat it as practice.

RC operator
Controls the model solo, manages gates and decides when to reset after becoming stuck.
Drive smoothly through the centre of narrow sections and finish first. Purchased upgrades do not replace route knowledge.
Minimise full-throttle steering, settle the chassis before ramps and restart immediately after an unrecoverable error.
04 • Reward and economic status
$51,000–54,000 • 1,200–1,800 RP
Cash combines the reported GTA$1,000–4,000 run result and GTA$50,000 for the first par time. Rank RP is 200 × time tier 1–4 plus 1,000 for the first par time. Do not treat retries as another full bonus.
Reported GTA$1,000–4,000 for the run plus a GTA$50,000 par-time bonus; Rockstar publishes no exact reset/repeat table.
