Time Trial
A weekly solo trial for an owned qualifying vehicle. This guide goes from the rotating marker through route planning and free retries to the first result under par time.

Time Trial
Find the current rotation's Time Trial marker on the map, arrive in an owned qualifying vehicle and stop inside the start zone.
The activity is solo and available on all supported platforms. The standard trial has no start fee; you need a vehicle accepted by the marker.
Check the map legend and blip filters, leave any active Job and return to Freemode. If the marker is still absent, change session rather than searching the previous rotation's location.

First completion, step by step
01 Enter the marker
- ACTION
- Arrive in the correct vehicle and stop fully inside the start zone until the launch prompt appears.
- TIP
- Before launching, mark the finish and inspect the main roads.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- An ineligible vehicle will not activate the trial.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Switch to an accepted car or motorcycle and return to the same marker.
02 Plan the route
- ACTION
- Compare the GPS line with faster roads, tunnels and shortcuts, but use a repeatable route for the first run.
- TIP
- Set one reliable landmark for every difficult turn.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- The shortest map line may end at a barrier, jump or wrong-way traffic.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- If a shortcut fails, finish the run, remember the error and correct only that segment on the next free attempt.
03 Start the timer
- ACTION
- Launch only after pointing the vehicle toward the first road and setting the camera.
- TIP
- A controlled launch saves more time than recovering an immediate spin.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- A collision in the opening seconds usually consumes the par-time margin.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Abort or finish as reconnaissance, return to the marker and launch another free attempt.
04 Drive under par time
- ACTION
- Keep corner exits clean, read traffic and do not risk a shortcut without a recovery line.
- TIP
- Brake before an obstacle; hitting traffic costs more than a short lift.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- A crash, lost vehicle or deep water can end the run.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Retry the activity, recover the vehicle and return to the start; attempts are free.
05 Register the finish
- ACTION
- Enter the finish zone before par time and wait for the completion and rotation-reward message.
- TIP
- Note the vehicle and route so the next rotation starts with a proven process.
- RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
- Later repeats do not have a verified universal full-payout table.
- HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
- Treat results after the first full reward as practice rather than sustainable hourly income.

03 • Real roles / Strategies
Real roles i Strategies
Solo driver
Chooses the vehicle, plans the route and manages every retry alone; the mode has no team roles.
Complete a reconnaissance run first, then improve the two slowest segments. A stable vehicle and safe line matter more than a risky shortcut.
Compare sector times using landmarks, test alternative entries one at a time and keep the vehicle ready for the next rotation.
04 • Reward and economic status
$100,000 for the first par-time completion in the weekly rotation
Rockstar confirms the full reward for the first par-time completion in the rotation. There is no defensible universal repeat-payout table.
The base settlement and first par-time rotation bonus are separate units.
B • verified-reset-rewardThe base EOM and first par-time bonus are shown separately; they are not sustainable RP/hour.
B • verified-reset-rewardReset reward: the full payout is available once per rotation and is not sustainable hourly income.
