01 • First completion, step by step

First completion, step by step

  1. 01

    Start: Precision courses

    ACTION
Choose a short jump and check checkpoint count.
    TIP
Open early, fly through ring centres and preserve altitude for the final alignment.
    RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
If the “1–8 players; the Job supplies a parachute, no purchase.” gate is not met, Precision courses will not save the intended progression.
    HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
Choose Rockstar Created and another course; Freemode markers may be hidden by map filters.
  2. 02

    Parachuting index

    ACTION
Note the opening point, gold checkpoints and landing target.
    TIP
Confirm “Precision courses” before the first launch, then progress to “Cliffs / water” through the index.
    RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
Choosing an entry outside the Parachuting index changes the mechanics or does not save this strand.
    HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
After missing a ring do not make a violent turn; restart if altitude makes recovery impossible.
  3. 03

Flow: Precision courses → Cliffs / water

    ACTION
Steer gently through ring centres, preserve altitude and bleed speed before the target.
    TIP
Use small corrections and brake only near the end; plan the line backwards from the final target.
    RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
Account for cliffs, rocks and the shoreline landing zone. Losing the objective before the last checkpoint requires a restart from the save.
    HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
After missing a ring do not make a violent turn; restart if altitude makes recovery impossible.
  4. 04

    Settle Cliffs / water

    ACTION
Finish “Cliffs / water”, remain through the result screen and confirm this family's progress save.
    TIP
After settlement verify that Parachuting marks its final entry complete.
    RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
Leaving before the “Cliffs / water” result can forfeit progression or reward.
    HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
Replay “Cliffs / water” as the correct host/operator and wait for the full session return.
  5. 05

    Parachuting replay

    ACTION
Return to: Pause → Online → Jobs → Play Job → Rockstar Created → Parachuting, or enter a durable parachute marker. Then choose a named indexed entry rather than a random family.
    TIP
Open early, fly through ring centres and preserve altitude for the final alignment.
    RISK / FAILURE CONDITION
A missing “Precision courses” indicates an unmet gate or different pool, not permanent removal of the whole family.
    HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
Choose Rockstar Created and another course; Freemode markers may be hidden by map filters.

02 • Variants and mechanics

Variants and mechanics

Precision courses

1–8

Pause → Online → Jobs → Play Job → Rockstar Created → Parachuting, or enter a durable parachute marker.

OBJECTIVE
Fly through the rings and land accurately on the target.
MECHANIC
Open before the first ring, make small corrections and flare over the centre of the landing target.
COMPLETION
The score records cleared rings and landing accuracy when the target is touched.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
After missing an early ring restart; after a late mistake preserve a safe landing rather than making a violent turn.

High-altitude jumps

1–8

Pause → Online → Jobs → Play Job → Rockstar Created → Parachuting, or enter a durable parachute marker.

OBJECTIVE
Choose the opening point and manage a long glide from altitude.
MECHANIC
Delay opening only to the planned point, then trade altitude for range and line up the rings.
COMPLETION
The jump ends after the available checkpoints are cleared and the marked landing zone is reached.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
If too low, abandon the distant ring and land safely; open earlier on the next attempt.

BASE / urban

1–8

Pause → Online → Jobs → Play Job → Rockstar Created → Parachuting, or enter a durable parachute marker.

OBJECTIVE
Open quickly around buildings, cranes and other urban hazards.
MECHANIC
Open immediately after clearing the building or crane and turn only after passing the structure.
COMPLETION
A BASE route settles after rings are cleared without collision and the urban target is landed on.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
After hitting the structure do not force a tangled line; restart and leave more clearance before the first turn.

Cliffs / water

1–8

Pause → Online → Jobs → Play Job → Rockstar Created → Parachuting, or enter a durable parachute marker.

OBJECTIVE
Account for cliffs, rocks and the shoreline landing zone.
MECHANIC
Keep clear of the cliff, account for wind over water and align the final approach parallel to shore.
COMPLETION
The variant ends after clearing the rings and touching the correct shore target, not open water.
HOW TO RECOVER THE RUN
If drifting into rocks, abandon the aggressive turn and land safely in water; correct the approach on replay.

Open early, fly through ring centres and preserve altitude for the final alignment.

ADVANCED

Use small corrections and brake only near the end; plan the line backwards from the final target.

04 • Reward and economic status

Checkpoint/landing result • informational

Pay depends on the specific Job, result, time and settings. There is no single defensible family-wide table, so no sustainable $/h or event multiplier is calculated.

GTA$Controller model: placing × players × time × Job override; default technical envelope GTA$100–54,810

Observed range specific to this activity; variant, result, duration or completion condition selects the value within it. Event multipliers are excluded.

Ccommunity-reported
RPController model: placing × players × time × rank × Job override; default technical envelope 100–10,810 RP

The formula and roles apply to the stated settlement unit; event multipliers are excluded.

Ccommunity-reported

Repeats follow normal Job availability; one-time awards and weekly bonuses are not baseline pay.

CONFIDENCE: Access B; exact pool may vary in menu

05 • Common mistakes and recovery

Common mistakes and recovery

There is not enough altitude for a checkpoint

Restart instead of forcing a sharp turn; open earlier and reduce steering next time.

The character misses the ring centre

Look two checkpoints ahead and make gentle corrections before entry.

The landing is too fast

Bleed speed above the target, not far before it, and align with the approach.

06 • Readiness checklist

  • The Job supplied my parachute
  • I know checkpoint count and order
  • I open with altitude in reserve
